Jewelry Christmas Tree

In the last few months I have been going to a lot of estate sales. Last week I picked up some grab bags of old jewelry. What a bargain!  I couldn't wait to get home to inspect the loot. I took inventory and I loved what was in the bags. So much glitter and odd pieces that had to be used for a special project. For many years I had been admiring Christmas Trees that were collaged with old jewelry. I was sure that I had enough to create the tree I have wanted for such a long time.

I made Sandra Evertson's Relics and Artifacts line of products from Prima the focal for my tree. The cameos were spaced with care to give them focus.
I'm over the moon with excitement to make my new tree the theme for this year's Christmas decor.
I hope you will be inspired!

Inspiration Board Created to Liven Up my Studio

This is what I did with a collection of trinkets that are waiting to be the focal of a wonderful piece of art, jewelry or mixed media masterpiece. Rather than hoarding them away in a box or drawer I captured them on this framed tag board. As I gather more pieces I will layer them on thick and enjoy watching how my board will change and evolve. Beautiful, inspiring, and a show stopper! I hope you will be inspired to display your collections in a artful manner.
